Assignment # 4 - Grammar Lesson Plan.
For my lesson, I decided to use the Task-Based approach.The topic of my lesson is "Job Cover Letter." In here, my students will learn how to create a job cover letter and apply grammar rules such as character adjectives and modal verbs. I chose to go this route as I find this topic to be an essential task and skill for language learners to acquire here in Canada.
Additional information about my lesson is that we are assuming the students have been working on a unit about employment and they have been learning descriptive adjectives about themselves and other people. We are also considering the students have a good understanding of modal verbs and therefore there is no need to study this piece in detail, only a brief review will do.
